We live in a wonderful region where the hills and valleys are filled with lakes, rivers and streams. I've enjoyed these outdoor places from a boat all my life. My paddling adventures and my studies of the natural environment have intertwined to feed my interests in geology, geography and canoe and kayak instruction.

To paraphrase William Shakespeare in "All's Well That Ends Well": 'Love many, trust few and always paddle your own canoe.' But Rick can do tandem and kayaks too!
